Villa De Dijken, Friesland

In the Frisian town of Langweer, a historic farmhouse has been transformed into a modern residential villa: Villa De Dijken. Located in a former wetland area known as “Hoek” or “Terherne,” the farm is directly connected to a canal that provides access to Lake Koevorder, a major water route through Friesland.

The transformation combines the authentic character of the farmhouse with contemporary living comfort and a strong relationship with the surrounding landscape.

Realization took place in 2021.
