The Herenmarkt 10-12 in Amsterdam was built in 1905 and had the original function of Bank van Lening. The building was designed by Willem Hamer and is a national monument. The building now houses offices and a daycare center.
The City of Amsterdam, Municipal Property wants to make the building more sustainable. The goal is to meet the 2030 requirements for an office building, or at least energy label A. The use of the building will not be changed.
